BIRD OF PASSAGE by Colby Halloran

Set on Orr's Island off the coast of southern Maine and based on the award-winning short story, The Ledge, by Lawrence S. Hall, this new play gives us characters marooned on the dangerous shoals of their own lives.  Conveying a theme deeply relevant to our present-day Maine population composed of natives, summer residents, "transplants" and more recent immigrants, Ms. Halloran asks, how and where do we find home and to whom do we belong?
